Hospice de The Antlers

Vous avez envie d'écouter de la pop lo-fi-minimaliste, eh bien plongez dans Hospice.

En plus, c'est même pas complètement vrai car dès Sylvia, ils s'énervent from time to time. En tout cas, une belle voix qui se perd dans les arrières fonds, elle surgit par delà les instruments, presque sortie d'une caverne ou d'outre-vie.

Atrophy nous emmènes vers des plaines semi-désertiques, des broussailles se soulèvent, le vent est là qui hantent ce paysage et vous vous promener dans cet espace, vous attendez The bear qui commence par des aventures minimales puis se réveille doucement et vous aussi au rythme de la guitare pour redescendre, ils jouent un peu au montagnes russes avec nous? cela s'appelle un refrain?Thirteen est plus éthérée, planante. Two est plus enjoué et pop-pop mais j'aime un peu moins, préférez lui dans le style Wave tout en langueur, perdue au milieu des marais ou pas loin du moins?

Pour la petite histoire :  "Initially, The Antlers was a solo project created by vocalist and guitarist Peter Silberman immediately after he had moved to Brooklyn, New York, where he had isolated himself from family and friends. Silberman wrote the first album, "In the Attic of the Universe" by himself and under his own name. Afterwards, he recruited Lerner and Cicci, becoming a collaborative group. The band recorded two EPs; "Cold War" and "New York Hospitals". Silberman's collection of songs (which was mentioned as an "elegy for his planned disappearance") would later become a full-length album titled "Hospice" and would feature an epic storyline, telling the story of a man losing a loved one to cancer and having to witness her death first-hand."
